This book is so appealing in it's communication style...the smart and effective infographics pull you in and it's very easy to just spot-read for 5 minutes if that's all the time you have. With all of the demands on our time these days, I consider this book a valuable resource that completely aligns with effective use of time.

Ivi Green books were such a lucky and much needed discovery. Absolutely love the content and the infographic like bright pages. I think anyone - 6 year old to an adult would benefit from these books, not just teenagers. My daughter is almost 7 and she also likes to read these books. We run a private Sunday school and we base a whole class off of the Ivi Green books. As Ivi Green has the books on the topics that are so much needed but quite often not offered at regular schools. Thank you, Ivi Green!.

I got it today and look through it briefly. I anticipate to sit and read it with my boy who tends to hide his emotions. Amazing work of the artist and the writer that makes it fun and entertaining to talk about the hardest thing in the world - our feelings.

I work with kids more than 25 years. Emotional intelligence is one of the most essential areas to develop during childhood. This book is a great resource for systematic approach and detailed information any practitioner or parent should have. Highly recommend it.

One of the hardest things about getting a teen or tween to engage in learning about their emotions is that most don't want to sit down and read a long book full of text. They're used to getting quick snippets of information online or having to read long texts for school. The idea of reading long texts to learn about emotions is generally off-putting. Emotions for Teens & Tweens circumvents that problem by presenting the information in bite-sized units with colorful images to draw them in. Like a graphic novel, this book is packed with information but is not overwhelming to read. While the book is designed to be read in order of the chapters, a teen could easily open to any random page and pick up helpful information by engaging with the images and brief text. Filled with explanations and examples specific to teens and tweens, this "visual book on emotional intelligence" offers a novel way to help this population who needs support in this area more than ever.

The book is a great resource, particularly for teens, and especially to if the parent reads along and uses it as a platform for discussion. Oftentimes in my experience, the parent cannot teach the child emotional intelligence because they themselves lack this skill. I will definitely buy it and recommend it to my clients.

Wow! Let me say that as a couples therapist and family therapist I sometimes need to teach adults the skills that are so masterfully explained in this wonderful book. Somehow our education system skipped the most important parts of human existence. Well - not anymore, since this resource now exists and can actually help you master emotional intelligence - if you're an adult or a teenager. Thank you for making this happen!
